Low Bun Updo

Dec 10, 2015

My hair has been in constant change. From being long to short and ombré, getting my long hair back was a challenge. And like many times before, I felt like a change and went back to shoulder length hair. It had taken many tries to readjust my hair styling for a shorter 'do. Luckily, having more inches, this time, helped me tackle one of my go-to 'do when I had longer hair. This quick and easy look will be perfect for the Holidays season.

1 // First off, start by parting the front section of your hair like you normally do. I prefer mine parted in the centre. 2 // Pin back the top section of your hair, making sure to keep some volume. You can gently pull at the hair once pinned to give more volume. 3 // Taking the rest of the hair, pull it back into a low bun. 4 // Make sure to pin all the hair that is sticking out.

5 // Take the front section and slightly curl them to create soft waves. 6 // Once curled, run fingers through hair. 7 // You could leave so they frame your face or like I did, pin them back, leaving a few strands only.
