The Overnight Lip Treatment

The winter season wasn't harsh this year, the one cold week we got seemed to affect my lips the most. They turned from soft to dry and peeling in a few days only. After many application of lip balm, it looked like they weren't going to change any day.

During a trip to a department store, I walked past the lip products aisle looking for a balm to relief my lips. The only one remaining was the Polysporin Overnight Lip Treatment.

While it says to be an overnight treatment, I decided to jump the waiting and apply some right away. I must say that the product I saw, once opened, wasn't what I expected. Thinking it was going to be a petroleum-like substance, it was completely the opposite. There was, instead, a cream product. Light on touch, the cream feels once applied, thick and moisturizing. It can make your lips look white is you go with a heavy hand.

After a few hours, my lips had improved a lot. The peeling had reduced and felt less dry. By the next morning, my lips were back to soft and moisturized. I can't believe how fast it worked, even if my lips could be sensitive to a few products.
